California car accidents can lead to fatality

by | Jul 11, 2014 | Car Accidents, Firm News

Driving on California interstates and highways allows vehicles to travel at high rates of speed and can demand heightened alertness to avoid car accidents, no matter the road conditions. Car accidents can occur when a driver is negligent or distracted and is not aware of surrounding vehicles on the road. Recently, two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision that injured many and killed two people.

The nighttime accident reportedly occurred when a vehicle smashed into the back of a sedan while travelling on a local highway. Authorities spent time reviewing the scene and investigating what may have created the situation that led to the death of three people. Reports do not yet indicate what may have caused the highway rear-end collision.

The middle-aged man driving the sedan, a teenage boy and another young boy that were both passengers lost their lives as a result of the crash. Another adult and little boy survived the tragic accident and were taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment of their severe injuries. The man who was driving the car that hit the sedan received only moderate injuries and was able to leave the scene of the accident the night it occurred.

Car accidents that occur on California highways can often result in dangerous consequences for those that are involved. A victim who suffers serious bodily harm from the apparent actions of another driver may face a long road to recovery and need ongoing medical treatments. Some may desire justice toward the responsible party and attempt to collect restitution for the damages that have been inflicted by filing a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit in civil court.
